The Spook Hill Cider & Wine 4 Mile Run utilizes a mix of road and cross country surfaces. Participants will run (or walk) through historic Burkittsville, up the slight incline of Spook Hill into the Boordy Winery Vineyard, through historic Union Cemetery, Guyton’s Farm, and the Distillery Lane Ciderwork’s Orchard. This is your chance to run the Biggest “little” Race In Maryland!
TheDistillery Lane Ciderworks orchard and tasting room is located across the street from the Ruritan and will be open immediately after the awards ceremony and door prize drawings have concluded. Boordy Vineyards will also be offering tastings in Burkittsville on race morning – take advantage of this great opportunity to taste wines made from grapes harvested on the Spook Hill course!
